The end of support date for Windows 10 is getting closer. Windows 11 has matured into a stable, usable system. It feels more like what we used to call a “service pack” to Windows 10; a feature refresh, more than a completely new version of Windows. However, we had several people recently who told us they don’t want the “latest and greatest” Windows 11 upgrade for various reasons.
Microsoft has officially announced the end of support for its Windows Mail, Calendar, and People apps, with the cutoff date set for December 31, 2024. After this date, the built-in Windows Mail app will no longer be functional for sending or receiving emails. To be honest, it’s a good riddance – I’ve never been a fan of Windows Mail anyway.
